I know a lot probably don't know what they are but you can eat them and they are good! Not so much the saltwater Gar, to me they are kind of mushy. They cab be a little hard to clean, but you just fry them up like you would chicken, cut it up in small chunks after cleaning, dip in flour after seasoning well and fry.
