Captain Jake:
The water has cooled down and made the fishing tougher. Fishing the 6 to 8 foot depths off the spoil banks using live shrimp under corks 2' in depth has produced limits of speckle trout 16" to 22". Fish slow and backfloat shrimp around spoils banks for good results.
