Fishing Reports February
« on: March 02, 2014, 09:34:11 AM »
February was a busy month despite the weather not always cooperating. I've been seeing lots of bait pods stacking up on the outer oyster & sand bars which is always a good sign. Limits of trout 16" to 20" are being caught on one good bar using live shrimp under popping corks.

Reds are farther back in the creeks. Slot and over slot Reds are being caught on live chubs & pinfish under cajun thunder corks. Keep baits within one or two feet from grass banks and oyster rock banks for best results.

Posting a few pictures of some of the catches. All of these can also be found in the Gallery. I had one party that booked three trips while they were visiting our area and had some nice catches.
