Captain Jake Herrin, Yankeetown, Florida Fishing Guide, fish as far north as Waccasassa Bay and to the south on the Crystal River Florida waters. GROUPER SEASON is now open! Be sure to book your "Inshore" trip now. Been catching some nice ones so far. Other species that can be caught are listed below. The Captain has been fishing these waters for more then 40 years so is very familiar with the area! He is more then happy to answer your questions and give some advice on fishing this area so feel free to ask. Redfish and Speckled Trout, are some of his specialties, but other spices that can be caught at different times of the year; Pompano, Flounder, Blues, Sheepshead, nice keeper Black Bass & Mangrove Snapper, plus a few other miscellaneous species!
